Suggest Diagnosis of this case: A 14 year old average built boy from Latehar presented to me with recurrent jaundice since 5 yrs of age.Birth, Infancy,Development and growth is normal till date. he is taking rx at latehar and suffers aggravation of jaundice every 3-4 months and responds partially to local rx.father said he hasnt suffered malaria yet though i could find typhoid +ve report of August 2015 and bilirubin of about 8 during this incidence. Latest reports are Bilirubin 2.8,direct 0.9 and indirect 1.9.Hb 9.8,protein 5.8 albumin 3.2,globulin 2.6 and ratio 1.3.ALP 193 malaria -ve and widal T o and H 1/160.HBsAg -ve.He is having mild fever history.
Other family members are normal with no sort of any blood disorder. or any chronic ailment.This child never got admitted or severly sick or any episode of pneumonia or malaria or hematesis etc O/E icteric,P +ve,rt upper cervical matted…
