Synopsis Prostate cancer is the most common type of genitourinary cancer in men. Robot-assisted laparoscopic prostatectomy (RALP) or laparoscopic radical prostatectomy (LRP) has certain advantages. The Enhanced recovery after surgery (ERAS) protocol can be beneficial in operations like gastrointestinal surgery. ERAS can also be beneficial in prostate cancer patients who have undergone RALP/LRP.
