Lens subluxation occurs when the zonular fibers are broken, and the lens is no longer held securely in place but remains in the pupillary aperture. This type of dislocation occurs due to trauma. A subluxated cataract is arguably one of the most challenging conditions for the anterior segment surgeon to deal with today. With advances in technology, these can be increasingly managed via phacoemulsification, with preservation of the capsular bag rather than by the conventional intracapsular cataract or pars plana techniques. Docplexus has organized an interactive  Live Commentary jointly with AIOC on 14th February 2020 from 12:30 pm onwards.

In this live commentary, Dr. Ajoy Paul, an Ophthalmologist, will be addressing the topic on  Subluxated Cataract . We invite you to submit your questions which will be answered by the speaker at the end of the session. Stay tuned with us!
