Stories  abound  based  on  seemingly blatant  myths  cocktailed with  a  scientific  hue to  make it  more interesting,  lively,.... almost real  and  attractive. It stimulates the mind of the reader / audience and takes  them on  a journey  to a  kind of  'Wonderland'  where impossible things happen, mastered  and  maneuvored  by unbelievable fictitious characters. Movies  on these  stories  are made  in such  a manner  that  it  makes one  start  wondering..."perhaps  there is  SOME  TRUTH in the absurdity"!!.

The  well-known, famous story 'Twenty Thousand Leagues Under  the Sea'  by Jules  Verne   published in 1870 had this  quality. It is a story of Captain Nemo and his super-submarine Nautilus.
