There are some errors commonly committed in general modern medical practice, more so by non-MBBS doctors, e.g. BAMS. These errors go unnoticed by patients, who thus maintain their faith in such doctors. These errors even go unnoticed by the employers of such doctors, especially if they are doing independent OPD job, without supervision of a qualified senior doctor, e.g. in charitable dispensaries.
Being unnoticed, these errors don't adversely affect the number of patients and the image & apparent performance of the doctor remains fine.
