Abdominal wall reconstruction (AWR) is frequently used in hernia repairs to recreate the abdominal wall and restore its function and structure. Maintaining the abdominal wall is crucial to protect the internal organs, support the spine, and keep an upright posture. However, complications associated with AWR may hamper the functions of the abdominal wall. Thus, post-surgery management is crucial in hernia repairs.
