Lumbar spinal stenosis (LSS) is the most common reason for spinal surgery mainly in patients >65years. Clinical care and the research into LSS is complicated by the heterogeneity of the condition and the lack of standard criteria for diagnosis. Management options include conservation or non-surgical options and surgical intervention. The non-surgical management includes drugs, physiotherapy, spinal injections, lifestyle modifications and multidisciplinary rehabilitation.
