The imaging studies including the computed tomography, magnetic resonance imaging, and ultrasonography are effective for the diagnosis and the management of metastases. Clinical studies report that the use of a contrast agent enables the visualization of metastases with significant improved sensitivity and specificity. The aim of this article is to discuss the importance of this technology for diagnosis, and management of liver metastases.
