A 13 years old girl presented with pain in abdomen dated 23.06.17. All Rx failed in this case. Only effective was febuxostat as uric acid was 7.6 and thus instituted. In 4 days pain completely subsided and repeat uric acid is 3.5 on 5th day of febuxostat.
Now she is symptom free. I still wonder the drastic response of this medicine and hyperuricemia without nephrolithiasis as cause of abdominal pain in this girl. No such case is reported till date. If any one has experience of such cases, kindly share.
