Case presentation A 29-year-old Hispanic lady with complaints of severe vertigo, vomiting, and nausea was admitted to the emergency department. The patient also had general fatigue with no fever, cough, phlegm, chills, chest pain, or weakness in the extremities. The patient complained of persistent vertigo in every position.

The patient was working at a chicken farm in a rural area where the COVID-19 infection was prevalent. The following symptoms were absent in the patient: Diarrhea Abdominal pain Anosmia Dysgeusia Tinnitus Hearing loss Feeling of unsteadiness Veering to one side while walking History of vertigo, trauma, and upper respiratory symptoms Initial examination Stable hemodynamics Afebrile Blood pressure – 139/72 mmHg Oxygen saturation – 100% Severe distress due to severe vertigo, nausea, and non-bilious vomiting Neurological examination Other finding Intact cognition Cranial…
