Deep Vein Thrombosis (DVT) is a severe disorder in which a thrombus forms in one or more deep veins, typically in the lower extremity. The signs of DVT include swelling, discomfort, cramps, soreness and a warm sensation in the affected leg, and red or discolored skin on the affected area.
