The Max Hospital in Saket, New Delhi has conducted plasma therapy on a critical patient with coronavirus and it shows promising results with the patient been taken off help from the ventilator, the Delhi hospital said on Monday. Here at Max Hospital (East Wing), the 49-year-old man was the first patient to undergo plasma therapy, the hospital said in a statement. In convalescent plasma therapy, an individual’s antibodies that recovers from the infection takes and transfuses into a sick person (having the infection) to help improve the individual’s immune system.
