However, it requires high precision due to the fragile nature of the parenchyma and spleen capsule and its close connection with the stomach, colon, and pancreas. Laparoscopic adrenalectomy is primarily performed for tumors of the adrenal gland, including pheochromocytoma and hyperaldosteronism, primary and secondary to adrenal cancer.
