Under Cervical Cancer section from the Department of Health, UAE published in 2018 Cervical cancer is the third leading gynecological malignancy worldwide, with 569,000 new cases reported every year. The overall incidence of cervical cancer in the UAE has doubled in the last 6 years with a total of 58 cervical cancer deaths in 2018, and 108 new cases reported in the same year. To address this issue, the Abu Dhabi Department of Health’s ‘Cervical Cancer Screening Program’ has previously released a guideline on the identification and screening of cervical cancer in the UAE.
