A healthy non-diabetic, euthyroid hypertensive 70 yr old man was suffering from recurrent frequent epistaxis for last few months and gave h/o mild epistaxis for decades but was never investigated. He was on hypolipidemic, antihypertensive and aspirin 80 mg daily for anginal symptoms. Hospital CBC had Hb 11, WBC normal, platelet 71000, mildly high cholesterol and Tg. Normal blood sugar and renal and liver profile.On above medications, he returned back and after few weeks developed frequent recurrent epistaxis.

There is the history of mild epistaxis for decades but was not investigated before and no previous report is available. When discontinued aspirin platelet and RPT showed Hb 10, normal WBC, platelet 80000 and lipids normalized. Since 2 weeks epistaxis didn't recur after discontinuation of aspirin.
