Previously successful and functional dental implant restoration was evident in 11 female patients for several years. These patients were on anti-resorptive therapy for over two years and eventually showed signs of dental implant failure. Patients were on the following anti-resorptive therapy: Eight patients were on alendronate. One patient was on zoledronate. Two patients were on denosumab. No patient was taking steroids. Other medications taken by patients did not affect implant success.
Adjacent teeth were not affected. Refer to the representative clinical and radiographical images to diagnose the condition. What can be the probable diagnosis in these cases?
