A 64-year-old woman was admitted to the hospital with shortness of breath and a productive cough with dark green sputum. She was treated with intravenous fluid rehydration and a penicillin-based antibiotic. Five minutes after administering the antibiotic, she complained of shortness of breath and dizziness. She sounded wheezy and looked very pale. Erythematous macular rashes were noted on her face and trunk (Image 1).
