With the impending alarm of scorching summer, physicians need to be prepared to handle a number of patients with heat illness in the emergency department. Heat-related illnesses are often overlooked and lead to fatal complications just due to lack of awareness of the severity. A late presentation in the ED becomes a makes it difficult for attending physicians and often requires a multispecialty intervention.
