The Union Health Ministry has notified the Surrogacy Regulation Rules, 2022, under the recently enacted Surrogacy Regulations Act, 2021, emphasizing the provisions for the mandatory requirement of staff, their qualifications, the surrogacy method, and the related fees. HCPs are encouraged to adhere to these regulations and educate all the personnel involved.
