A patient had a episode of severe retrosternal pain at midnight and sense of constriction in chest just like heart pain and a feeling that site of pain moving from lower part of chest upwards towards throat. Immediately the patient had a ECG done but it was OK. Since pain was severe the patientI had an injection of trammadol but pain was not releived. Then the patient had haemoptysis of pure fresh blood twice with a gap of 20 minutes and pain still continuing with not much relief.
The patient got an endoscopy done. It showed a submucosal bleed throughout the length of oesophagus and nomal mucosa of fundus and beyond.There was no ulceration seen anywhere. What should be the plan of treatment?
