Privacy and Confidentiality are getting higher concern these days when awareness to happenings around and within society is increasing. Privacy regarding the hospital visits by a patient, frequency and the ailments can not be shared with anyone without the knowledge and concurrence of the patient even with his or her spouse and children.
Privacy during examination, bedside procedures and during any Intervention including surgery is of paramount significance. Also, the medical records generated by the healthcare provider are strictly confidential. These can only be made available under either RTI Act or on directions of Honorable Courts.
