A doctor performed a cesarean section on a 22-year-old pregnant woman. The doctor was in an intoxicated state. After some time patient bleeds profusely. Newborn has died. Attendants went to doctor who was in the drunk state then they decided to take the patient to a private gynecologist.
But, the patient died on the way. This incident occurred in a dry state. They complain to the police who booked doctor first under prohibition act and then committing Medical negligence. What is your opinion about unethical and unprofessional behavior of the doctor? Source- The Times Of India
