2017 Durga Puja Md Ali Park (Chittaranjan Ave, Calcutta University, College Square, Kolkata, West Bengal 700073) A model was prepared, showing a ‘Doctor’ as ‘ASUR’ who was taking a large amount of money from a poor & helpless patient party. It was being shown at the above-mentioned venue and was a subject of ‘superb attraction’ for visitors specially non-medicos. After highlighting the story a mass protest was made by the Doctors in person to the Puja Committee, in social media etc. MCI, IMA & many other medical organizations stood with them.
At first Puja committee denied to remove the model stating that they were tried to show ‘Fake Doctors’. But they had to remove it on 25-09-2017. How will you see towards this incidence?
