Juni Indore Police have registered an FIR against a pediatrician in Indore for allegedly administering an expired vaccine to a 2.5-month-old infant and for reportedly assaulting and threatening the parents when they questioned the issue. The incident took place at a private hospital on Sapna-Sangeeta Road. According to the complaint filed by a resident of Musakhedi, the parents noticed that the vaccine wrapper affixed to the baby’s file showed an expiry date of May 2025. When they raised their concern, the doctor allegedly seized the file in an attempt to alter the evidence.
The parents further reported that the doctor and hospital staff pushed and assaulted them before offering to refund the vaccine fee and urging them to let the matter go.
