Excessive Bureaucratization during COVID Pandemic . I have been reading accounts of high handedness of bureaucrats and consequent victimisation of the doctor fraternity . At some point it seems as though the doctors are responsible for the pandemic. The doctors are expected to give their lives in the effort to contain the pandemic ,but they are also called in to render their services almost free of cost . They are also at the receiving end of patient frustration and are not offered protection or justice .
Add to that the irony of corrupt officials auditing hospital bills and making life more difficult . If the pandemic continues for another 6 months , most doctors would be terminally burnt out and the stress on the healthcare would be more acute .
