Doctors in private clinic or Government or private hospital or nursing homes always require a consent written by patient preferably by his/her understanding all sequence of treatment clearly and having explanation of alternative in presence of witness except in OPD where simple external examination is required for prescription, not any internal or special, specific examination or any intervention, procedure or administration of a medicine is done. Here patient willingly submits before Doctor so consent is applied, so written eligible consent may be avoided but if the patient is not adult or insane or brought by police or others for medicine legal purpose consent must be taken either from patient or attendants preferably relative explaining everything in detail in a language understandable to them in writing.
