National president of Indian Medical Association, came down heavily on the Centre for bulldozing the Bill for the National Medical Commission replacing the Medical Council of India though objections were raised by the doctor fraternity across the country. “However, the Bill was referred to the Select Committee for making cosmetic changes in it, which is not sufficient,” he added.
