Inspection of private medical colleges has been a controversial issue and invariably the MCI team’s inspection reports have been challenged in high courts and the Supreme Court now and them. Faced with “incessant disputes” over inspection of private medical colleges by the Medical Council of India (MCI) and being exhausted of cases against MCI and no concrete result over its main decision to reform MCI and improve fair medical Education in India which is till now an industry of corrupt thousand crores and where medical education is sold both at UG, PG and SS level at the cost of crores of rupees, the Supreme Court has asked former UIDAI chairman and technocrat to examine if a computer network-based technological solution was possible for such inspections.
