A government medical college in Uttar Pradesh has terminated the services of two doctors and suspended two more doctors over the allegation of playing cricket while neglecting a five-year-old child with a fever that led to her death. The family of the young patient brought her to the hospital for treatment. However, there was no pediatrician available in the hospital. The health workers directed them to various rooms in search of a doctor.
Shockingly, no doctors were available, and the girl tragically passed away. The patient’s family alleged that the girl died because the doctors and health workers were busy playing cricket instead of treating their daughter. The medical college management formed a three-member committee to investigate the tragic event.
