Doctors, foreign medical graduates, are protesting against what they allege is a scam in Medical Council of India screening test conducted by National Board of Examination (NBE) under the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare ``where malpractice has been going on in the name of examination fee which is Rs.5,500 per attempt.’’ Dr. A.Najeerul Ameen, MD (Russia) said: "Injustice is being done through the Foreign Medical Graduates Examination conducted by NBE where failing a candidate seems more profitable." He added that in India no such exam by other prestigious organizations cost as much. "NBE doesn't want this exam to be transparent.
