In a recent move, the Maharashtra Medical Council (MMC) has issued a circular to doctors across the state and asked them to submit their Aadhaar details. This circular comes after the MCI’s similar notification to all state councils in the country. This step was taken to keep a track of doctors who are practicing in multiple states and whose licenses have been suspended for ethical reasons.
