On a recent episode, a patient, who confessed to be a beggar, was brought to a municipal hospital in Surat by an ambulance. The three doctors from the hospital, instead of treating this patient, dumped him outside the hospital. This whole incident was recorded on the hospital’s CCTV camera. The incident was revealed when the same patient was brought to this hospital by an ambulance again. To take action against this incidence, all three doctors have suspended by the hospital authority for six months.
The medical field has been known as a noble profession. Every doctor knows the ethics of medical practices and legal consequences of negligence, but still, these type of incidence are growing in hospitals.
