It is high time that we think about the Public Outrages that cause grievous injuries to Duty Doctors. Yet another incident strikes in a hospital where Duty doctors were severely injured by the patient’s relatives. Consequences followed and upset the medical routine. In a recent devastating incident in one Medical college and hospital located in Kolkata, relatives of a deceased patient (75 years of age) who was suffering from heart attack which occurred for the second time started blaming the doctors and demanded Identity cards and names of medicines administered.
When the mob was uncontrollable by the Cops present , the doctors tried to rescue themselves by calling other resident doctors for support.
