Caesarean section or primarily known as C-section is slowly becoming the preferred method of delivery. In India, the number of c-sections has scaled up to 40 to 50% in some regions of the country. In this regard, a survey was implemented to understand doctors’ viewpoint with respect to C-section and understand different modalities associated with the technique.
Here are the results of the survey. On the occasion of Caesarean Awareness Month, let's pledge to spread the correct message about c-section to imbibe the sense of responsibility for handling c-section cases.
