Synopsis A significant number of deliveries are performed using the cesarean section. The procedure comes with surgical morbidity, including pain, blood loss, and infection, resulting in increased hospital stay and expenditure. Additionally, the exposure of healthcare professionals to body fluids and incidences like injuries from sharp sutures are some of the additional drawbacks of traditional methods of skin closure.
