Being a physician is always a busy job, especially in a case of primary care physicians. Physicians use time in face-to-face contact with patients to collect information, analyze medical condition, and to gain patient’s trust. Increasing administrative requirements and paperwork such as record keeping are also an important aspect for the physicians to follow the good medical practices. Management of this administrative responsibility and visiting length for a patient is a challenging task.

The less time spent on patient concerning a face-to-face contact can affect the patient-doctor relationship. In such situation, it is important to ask how much time on an average the physician should spend on a patient. In your opinion, what factors affect the time spent on a patient during the visit? What ways it will affect the patient compliance?
