Highlights ·        Patients who undergo laser in situ keratomileusis (LASIK) or photorefractive keratectomy (PRK) frequently report dryness, grittiness, or irritation similar to the symptoms experienced by dry eye patients.1 ·        Additionally, the Schirmer test, tear break-up time, and rose Bengal staining- measures of dry eye have been reported to be abnormal in patients for a few months after surgery.1 ·        This Infographic highlights tear-related changes, etiology, sequelae, and dry eye management after PRK and LASIK surgeries.
