A UAE-based pharmacy chain has received approval from the Dubai Health Authority for launching walk-in clinics. Twenty standalone community clinics would help provide easy and urgent care to patients from general practitioners in the immediate vicinity, starting January 2022. The need: About 50 to 60% of patients seek services from general practitioners. Cutting down on the time required to schedule appointments, wait in the clinic, and wait for their medications, walk-in pharmacy clinics may help provide immediate attention and urgent care, especially in remote areas in the near future.
