The Dubai Health Authority recently announced the implementation of the Home Health Care Initiative which is currently providing services to 1,322 senior citizens. This initiative is based on providing medical and nursing services to senior citizens, owners of families and widows who are unable to visit hospitals. In this initiative program, medical teams visit patients to provide medical services in record time to avoid complications.
To avail the home health care service, the patients need to be registered either through contact with the customer service number or through a referral from the specialist doctor, in an event where it is difficult to transfer the patient to the hospital. After registration, the social status of the patient is confirmed through a specialist team, before agreeing to provide home service.
