Highlights โ€“ Despite receiving standard-of-care treatment, children with moderate-to-severe asthma continue to experience complications of the disease. Dupilumab, a monoclonal antibody, has been licensed for the treatment of asthma in adults and adolescents, as well as other type 2 inflammatory illnesses. Liberty Asthma VOYAGE (evaluation of dupilumab in children with uncontrolled asthma) was a global, randomized, placebo-controlled phase-III study that assessed the effectiveness and safety of dupilumab in children aged 6 to 11 years with moderate-to-severe asthma.
