In this era of corporate culture our young colleagues - both GPs and specialists are finding it difficult to start their own practice.We are being exploited by charitable hospitals, corporates and quacks and many of our own colleagues. So here I will like to give few tips to my young colleagues.There are many of us who worked hard and got admission in Govt medical college without paying donation fee. Many of you will join Post-graduation just after completing the MBBS and will be getting a stipend and will not have time to think beyond that.

After completing it few of you will enroll for Super Specialization and many will go for Sr residency. After this cycle, an average doctor will be 28-29 years old.When he comes out fully qualified he finds his colleagues in other profession are well settled and earning in six figures and enjoying the life. But a doctor finds it tough to settle down.…
