A recent study from ‘Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation International’ has highlighted the importance of the combined physical therapy with diet and medicinal therapy in the type II diabetes patients. This common endocrine disorder frequently observed in middle age people and has a wide impact on the personal, social and economic life of the patients due to complex treatments and comparatively lengthy hospitalization in the severe cases. The investigators have concluded that addition of regular physical activity to the diet and medicinal therapy can help in controlling diabetes.
