Highlights • Evaporative dry eye (EDE) is a common form of dry eye disease (DED) and is more prevalent than aqueous-deficient dry eye (ADDE).1 • More than 80% of DED patients present with EDE alone or a combination of ADDE and EDE.1, • Despite receiving more attention in recent years, there are no established treatments/recommendations for managing EDE.2 • This article provides a brief overview of the management approaches for EDE in India.
