Dr Vijayaraghavan is the Vice Chairman & Founder Director of the Kerala Institute of Medical Sciences and the President of the Society for Continuing Medical Education and Research, Trivandrum, Kerala. He is one of the senior most medical teachers and is widely known for establishing the first 2-dimensional echocardiography laboratory in India in 1980.
