Dr. Sanjeev Kamble is heading the National Leprosy Eradication Programme (NLEP), a centrally sponsored Health Scheme of the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Govt. of India. He is continuously involved in implementing different strategies to control TB in India. The Indian healthcare system is crippled with multiple challenges and an ever-increasing disease burden of tuberculosis.
