The Eye Donation Fortnight (25th August to 8th September) organized by the Department of Ophthalmology, Government Medical College and Hospital was inaugurated by Chief Guest, MLA , South Nagpur , Shri Sudhakar Kohle in Eye Department Government Medical College, Nagpur. Shri Kohle appealed to the people and urged them to come forward and spread the message of Eye Donation to the common people which would help the corneal blinds to come out of darkness. Dr. A. Niswade, Dean of Government Medical College, Nagpur stressed the importance of Eye Donation and the availability of new equipment and techniques in the Eye Department.
