The US Food and Drug Administration has approved sotorasib with panitumumab for treating adult patients with Kirsten rat sarcoma gene (KRAS G12C)-mutated metastatic colorectal cancer, who have received prior fluoropyrimidine-, oxaliplatin-, and irinotecan-based chemotherapy. Clinical evidence The safety and efficacy of this combination therapy were evaluated in a clinical trial involving 160 patients. The combination of sotorasib and panitumumab demonstrated a progression-free survival of 5.6 months compared to 2 months in the standard of care (SOC; trifluridine/tipiracil or regorafenib) group.
