Recently, the FDA has given clearance to the first insulin-management and insulin-titration mobile phone app for individuals with type 2 diabetes. The App is compatible with all the insulin regimens and can be connected to any cloud-connected blood glucose meter. The mobile app is developed by a digital insulin management company and is able to measure individualized doses for all types of insulin regimens. It is available for both iOS and Android mobile phones.
In the current scenario, T2DM is a very common health issue faced by patients. T2DM being a lifetime disorder makes it difficult for the patients to pay regular visits to the doctor and keep a check on their insulin level.
