A 43-year-old female insurance agent presented with burning symptoms and eye irritation in the morning after waking up. She also complained that her eyes usually felt dry and appeared red. She had noticed while putting on make-up her eyelids were at different heights. Apart from that, she had no other significant problems with vision.

Apart from myopia, she had no other significant ocular or medical history. She was also a non-smoker, and a non-drinker, was not on any medications, and had no allergies. She admitted that she sometimes experienced mild anxiety or palpitations but had no other major problems.
