An eighteen year old boy is having fever for last 13 days. There is no clinical positive finding no complaint except fever. His CBC showed mild rise in polymorph, TLC was WNL rest other finding like dengue malaria and typhoid at day 7 were normal. He was prescribed Tab Cefexime, but no response, fever persisted. At Day 13 again CBC was done TLC WNL poly 86% typhoid negative but his urine showed 5-6 pus cells, few RBC and albumin.
His BP is normal no other complaint except fever for 13 days. What can be the cause of this fever? Suggestions awaited.
